YouTube was created February 4 2005 by Chad Hurley, Steve Chen, and Jawed Karim. The three of them new each other from working at the same internet start up Paypal. In fact Hurley created the logo to Paypal. In 2006 Google bought YouTube for 1.65 billion dollars in stocks just 18 months after YouTube was created. Karin got $66 million from YouTube. Just 3 months after it was created they had 3 million visitors.YouTube is the second largest search engine after Google. Most of the views that they got were the ages of 12-17, 44% female and 56% male.

The name 'YouTube' and the motto 'Broadcast Yourself' reflected on the founders witch caused people to want to use the site freely. In 2007 many teachers started to use YouTube so they can do their lessons through video. The first band that had ever hit the most subscribers was a rock band called Smosh. YouTube broadcast about 1/3 of the U.S. multimedia entertainment. In September a Brazilian soccer player with the video called "Touch of Gold"became the first video that was viewed 1 million times.

By 2010 it would take 1,700 years to watch ever single video on YouTube. In 2006 when YouTube was  bought by Google they started to lose money at the rate of $500,000 a month, because of ads. In 2013 YouTube had more than 72 uploads per minute. Therefore there as been people who posted a lot of videos a day or week. Over 4 billion hours of videos are viewed every month. In 2009 HD was released and was able for people for people view videos. YouTube has 800 million+
monthly unique visitors witch is more than the whole population of Europe. BBC reported that YouTube sends about about 72 billion emails.

YouTube wanted attractive girls to post on there 10 or more videos and was offering $100 to them. People say that the success was do to key features. The key features are 1.) Video recommendations also know as "related videos" 2.) email link to enable video sharing 3.) Comments also other social medias (facebook and twitter) 4.) to embeddable video player.  in 2010 YouTube was fourth in most visited website behind Google, Facebook, and Yahoo. Since April 1, 2008 YouTube has featured April Fools pranks. In May 2007  the video "Charlie Bit My Finger" was uploaded and got 500 million views .

If a YouTube user receives three copyright strikes then their account gets suspended and all videos that have been posted are removed. If the account is suspended then they can NOT make a new account. Several companies have sewed YouTube because they think that they can't prevent copyright. People think that the comments that are on YouTube make you  think about humanity and what we have in-stored for our future. YouTube has give many people oppertunittys that you wouldn't get to do unless you have the money. Many events are connected with YouTube such as Vidcon, DigiTour, and many more. YouTube does give people things you thought of having. The tings YouTube does is amazing. There has been people who have been posting YouTube videos since 2009 and still do it today because they love what they do.

Singers now a days get to get their videos out the way the do because of YouTube. They get to make a song and get paid from the people who view their videos. People who do YouTube do get paid and the do get to do things you never thought about. People get well know from just posting a YouTube video. Some examples are IISuperwomanII, Zollea, The Janoskians, and others. If you spend some time on there you can find people who are so funny. Not only do people who post funny videos there's also people who post things about videos games. New upcoming artists. Lots of people such as Austin Mahone started on YouTube. This is an impact on many peoples lifes and they get to do things they would never expect. YouTube is an amazing thing. 

California Wedding!

Today's the day! I say. Today I'm flying to California for my sister's wedding. About two weeks ago I got the invitation and I leave tomorrow morning so I can be there to help her pick out her dress and get fitted for my own. Therefore today I've spent all day packing. For my suit case i just put in some clothing i might need some shoes  and my face-wash and much more. My sister did tell me to invite someone to come with me therefore  I invited my best friend Daniel. Daniel and I have been best friends for about 10 years now. It's curently 5:30 and I'm meeting my friend Andrea for dinner, at Olive Garden. I had to be there by 6. I'm walking out the door when I run into some guy. I kept walking and got to my car. When I got to my car I started it and left to meet up with Andrea. We arrived at the same time. We walked and took our seats. We both ate our food and left. I got home around 7:30 and I opened my apartment door and walked into my bathroom and hopped into the shower. I put on my Pj and laid in bed. my flight is at 7 tomorrow. I started to fall asleep by 8.

I wake up to the sound of my alarm going off. It's curently 6 I got up and put on a pair of Pants and a T-Shirt. I put on my back Vans and grabbed my bags and put them by the door. Five minutes later Daniel texted me saying he was here. I grabbed my bags went out to his car. I put my bags in the back and hopped in the front seat. On our way to the airport we stopped to get a breakfast burrito just down the road from my house. We arrived at the airport and we went through the security and got onto the plane. Daniel  and I have seperate seats because the tickets were booked late. We both went and sat in our spots waiting for the late people. There was one more person who got on the plane and they came and sat by me. I was getting ready to plug in my ear-buds when he said something. "Hello my names is Sam" Sam said. "Hello my name is Danyelle" I say back. "So Danyelle what's bring you to the wonderful state of California?" Sam asked. "My sister's getting married" I say back. "Well sounds like fun" he says back. "What brings you to the state?" I asked him. "I live there, I was here for a week because of YouTube." Sam says. "That's nice" I say. "Yep so are you with anyone or alone" he asked. "I'm here with my best friend Daniel"I say. We talked for a little. I finally out in my ear-buds and fell asleep.

I wake up to Daniel shaking me and saying. "Danyelle get up were here" I slowly get out of my seat and exit the plane. We have arrived in the hot sun and the beautiful beaches and trees. We walked to our bags, we both got our bags and we walked to the exit. Outside the exit my mother and sister were standing there waiting. We all go into the car and drove to the hotel where we were staying. Daniel is sharing a room with my two brothers Luke and Jacob. I was sharing a room with my soon to be sisters in-laws, Jenny and Spencer. We all got our stuff out and where it needs to be. We all then went to my sisters house so we could help her plan out everything. We then went and got our dresses. The colors are a light blue with a light purple color. My sister got a beautiful dress. My sisters in-laws and I dresses were light blue. We all took out dress to my sisters house and we all went back to our hotels. We all went to bed.

Today's the big day. We all went to my sisters and got ready as all the boys went to my parents house to get ready. My cousin did the hair of all of us. As my sister was getting her hair done the rest of us had to do our own makeup. I walked upt to my sister after she was done with her hair and gave her a special clip. "This clip mom wore and so did grandma" I say handing it to our cousin and she played it in her hair. Then next was her makeup. She had some light makeup. After she was done we all went to the church and took our spots. The three of use all stood off to the side to where my sister was going to stand. With my brothers on the other side and brother in-laws. And my sister's feoncey. 5 minutes later she walked in with dad at her arm. She was dropped off at the alter and they begain. Then after the serimony we all went down to my parents house where they had a food and cake for everyone.

Two days later Daniel and I had to leave. I have a job that I have to get to. We both packed up and my mom and dad picked us up at 6. Before we left mom and dad took us to eat. We all grabbed a breakfast burrito from Saniogo's and some Starbucks. We went through the same process  as back home. We finally made it one to the plane. I one thing that i didn't understand is I never saw Sam the whole time. He wasn't there to wake me up when we landed. I wonder if it was just a dream? Was it really?Was it someone I'm going to meet? I don't know. I then sat down next to Daniel and the plane took off. We both put in our headphones and fell asleep. After about 30 minutes I was hearing a voice. I then open my eyes to see Sam. "Sam" I say. "Yep" he said. "Wait don't you live in Cali?" I asked. "That I do but...." He said.

I was being woken up by Daniel again. We are finally home. I grabbed my carry on and walked next to Daniel to the baggage clime. We both grabbed out bags was walked to the door. We got into Daniel's car and took off. He dropped me off at my house and he left. I took my bags and put it in my room. I then sat down on the couch. I decided to go out. I grabbed my keys to my house and walked out the door. I grabbed out my phone from the pocket of my jeans and checked the time, 12:30. I walked down the street to the Starbucks. I walked and got my usual and sat down. When I got my drink I headed out the door and to the park down the street. As I was walking down the street I bumped into someone. "Oh my god are you okay" He asked "Yeah I'm good" I say back nothing that I had was ruined and my drink didn't spill on me. The boy helped me up and said "Hi I'm Sam" he said. "Sam?" I say back. "Yeah"he said. "I've seen you before, where have I seen you" "How about a Plane ride to California" He said back. "Yes yes that's it" "Well It's good to see you but I gotta run" We both went our own ways.

When I got home I made some tea and sandwich and watched some TV. It's weird that Sam would be here He lives In California. I finished my food and tea and went to lay down in my bed. I fell asleep shortly after i laid down.
